These terms apply when you use Daridanesh. By creating an account or using the site, you accept them. If something is unclear, write to support@daridanesh.com.
The service
Daridanesh offers summaries of non-fiction books in Dari and English, to read and to listen to, with practice tools. The summaries are our own original writing about the main ideas of each book. They do not replace the books and contain no text copied from them. We are not affiliated with the authors or publishers.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. You can delete it at any time from your Account page.
Free and Premium
The Free plan, with an account, gives access to complete free books (at least one in every category), every book's introduction, and the reading tools. Premium opens every book, the quizzes and exercises, and writing reviews. What each plan includes is described on the pricing page and may change; we'll tell you before a change that reduces what you paid for.
Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds
Premium is a subscription paid monthly or yearly through Stripe. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Account page; Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid, and is not renewed after that.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw within 14 days of your first payment: write to support@daridanesh.com and we refund you in full. Otherwise a period that has started is not refunded, unless the law where you live says otherwise or the service did not work as described. Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately.
Reviews and messages
Reviews you write are public on the book page with your display name. Keep them honest and respectful: no insults, personal data, advertising or unlawful content. We may remove a review that breaks these rules. You keep the rights to what you write and allow us to display it on Daridanesh.
Acceptable use
Don't copy, resell or republish our summaries or recordings, don't share your account, and don't try to get around the plan limits or disrupt the service (scraping, automated requests, attacks).
Intellectual property
The summaries, recordings, drawings, covers we draw, the design and the name Daridanesh belong to us. Book titles and author names belong to their owners and are used only to say which book a summary is about.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Daridanesh available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The summaries are for learning and are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial). To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after warning you when possible.
