Daridanesh is built to help you learn, not to collect data. This page explains what we store, why, and how you stay in control. We do not sell your data and we show no advertising.
Who is responsible
Daridanesh is responsible for the personal data described here. For any question about it, write to support@daridanesh.com.
What we store
Your account: email address, name and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares (name, email).
What you do in the app: saved books, listening and reading progress (including when you finished a book), your activity calendar, daily practice answers, saved quotes, kites earned and the topics you picked.
Reviews you write: shown publicly on the book with your display name.
Premium: the status and dates of your subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Messages you send us through the contact form.
Technical records: server logs and error reports (time, page, browser), kept for security and to fix problems.
Why we use it
To run the service you asked for (your account, your progress, your subscription), to keep it secure and to fix errors. We don't use your data for advertising or profiling, and we don't sell or rent it.
Who processes it for us
Google Firebase and Google Cloud (sign-in, database, hosting, logs), Cloudflare R2 (storage of audio and covers), Stripe (payments). These providers may store data in the United States or other countries, under their own security commitments and standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and local storage
One technical cookie, __session, tells our server you are signed in so it can show the books your plan includes. It is strictly necessary and contains no tracking. Your browser's local storage keeps your sign-in (Firebase), your theme, your accessibility settings and a small hint that you were signed in. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is erased straight away, except what the law requires us or Stripe to keep (for example invoices). Server logs are kept for a limited time.
Your rights
You can download a copy of your data and delete your account at any time from your Account page, under "Your data". You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to support@daridanesh.com; we answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Daridanesh is not intended for children under 13 (under 16 in some countries of the European Union) without a parent's consent.
Changes
If this policy changes in an important way, we'll say so in the app before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
